Friendship Festival

Today we went to the Friendship Festival. It was pretty lame! We did see a really cool bicycle collection and we met an Italian friend! She is going to be my Italian grandmother and teach me how to cook and speak Italian! She is from here but lived 36 of her years in the states so she speaks very, very good English.

We also took "Flat Stanley" to the festival today! He enjoyed seeing the clock tower and eating spinach pizza with a pastry for dessert!

For those of you who are wondering why I am taking pictures with a paper doll....

Flat Stanley is a project that one of Nick's little cousins is doing. We will take pictures of Stanley all over Italy and send them to the boy's classroom. He will get to share with his classmates all the cool sites that Flat Stanley visited.
